Everyone deserves respect and good health care but people with complex disability may face challenges.
It may be harder to:
- say what they think, need, want and feel
- move around
- keep their mind and body healthy
- do jobs for daily life, like eating and drinking.
The right tools, resources and support can help people with complex disability live healthier lives.
Everyone should be able to:
- get mobility aids that work for their body
- have places to live, work and play that they can use
- use transport to get around
- have trained staff who meet their needs and respect who they are
- get therapies that work for them
- make their own decisions
- connect with friends and family and have different kinds of relationships
- learn and work
- be healthy.
